First things first: Healthy filling breakfast

Good morning! :) It's really important to have a healthy, filling breakfast, so I thought I would share what I make.  When I have a big breakfast in the morning shortly after waking up, I feel much better and am much less hungry throughout the rest of the day.  I used to just have cereal every day, which isn't a bad thing, but it just wasn't filling enough when I spent the rest of the day walking all over campus.  I wanted to make oatmeal, but beware of the little single-serve microwave packets! They have a lot of sugar in them, even the Quaker Oats brand.
I wanted to find a way to eat oatmeal that would be yummy but wouldn't have all the sugar in it.  So this is my new routine: I portion out 1 serving of Quaker Oats Quick 1-Minute oatmeal (about 1/2 cup).  While that's in the microwave, I get out cocoa powder, cinnamon, Natural Jif Peanut Butter, blueberries, and Stevia in the Raw.  After the oatmeal is cooked, I put in about a tablespoon of peanut butter and then dust on some cinnamon and cocoa powder.  I put in 2 packets of Stevia in the Raw (if you don't, it's pretty bland, so this helps a lot!) and then put in a handful of blueberries.

Is it as delicious as using lots of sugar?  Nope.  But it IS really yummy, I promise you that!  And it's really filling and only takes 5 minutes to make, so there's no excuse for not having a healthy, filling breakfast :)

I'm also a big coffee lover, and my roommate has a Keurig, so I made a cup of Pumpkin Spice today (it's delicious!).  Thankfully I love black coffee, so there's no cream or sugar added.  Anyways, enjoy your breakfast! :)
